Legends Hospitality Intern, Hospitality (Catering Department) Fall Internship in Frisco, Texas

Description

The Catering Intern will learn these essential skills to function in the Catering Department.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Legends during catered events and effectively communicate with other departments including Culinary, Operations, Engineering, Warehouse, IT, and Security

  • Manage event day load-in, execution, break down and load-out.

  • Create a positive guest experience by delivering an elevated level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.

  • Develop customized menus to meet the diverse needs of social and corporate clientele.

  • Partner with chef to meet clients’ expectations including menu development, tastings and communicating service standards.

  • Communicate with event sales and stadium planning teams to ensure events are executed as planned with clients.

  • Oversee client vendors including building management COI required for all events.

  • Creates banquet event orders, diagrams, estimate of charges and invoices for events.

  • Ensure the smooth operation of all catering functions.
