Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Co-Op in our Frisco, TX, Lisle, IL or St. Louis, MO offices for the Spring and Summer of 2025. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects.

Job Activities:

  • Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities

  • Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions

  • Construction documents and administration

  • Cost estimating

  • Material specifications

  • General project and office support

Specific Requirements include:

  • Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum

  • Willing to work full-time during the spring semester and summer from January 2025 - August 2025

  • Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license

  • MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required
