Diesel Mechanic
$45 - $48 per hour!
Up to $4,000 Sign On Bonus!*
Maintain and repair vehicles including Gillig buses, Cummins, Allison, CAT heavy equipment owned by Summit County. Work four 10-hour days per week!

An additional $.25 per hour for each ASE certification you possess or obtain!

Responsibilities:
Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs.
Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required (or must be obtained within 90 days of Employment).
At least 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
Mechanic’s toolset
ASE certifications required. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!
Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
