Job Title: People Operations Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist

Summary:This role is responsible to successfully support workforce planning and retention at the Sistersville, WV, and Texas City, TX, locations.

The right candidate will brand Momentive and build talent pipelines and channels to successfully recruit talent for Sistersville, WV and Texas City, TX locations. Key responsibilities include identifying talent pipelines and local building relationships, promoting community events to support Momentive talent attraction and strong community partnerships. The role will support local career fairs and oversee the talent acquisition process for all roles. The role will support the internship and coop programs at these locations. The role will also provide key HR knowledge to candidates and assist on boarding and first year of employment. The role will conduct routine stay interviews to provide workforce stability.

Responsibilities Include:

10% HR Advising / Coaching / Business Partnering

  • Advise leaders, first level supervisors, and new hires regarding onboarding and assimilation

  • Participate in cross-functional collaborative discussions, working sessions

  • Facilitate team sessions, develop content based on needs for attraction and retention

  • Understand local leadership and strategic workforce planning to support recruitment strategy

  • Design community relationships to brand Momentive and ensure Sustainability goals are met

20% Employee Life Cycle

  • Design new employees site-specific new hire orientations

  • Support new hiring assimilations

  • Conduct stay interviews to ensure employees are engaged and thriving at Momentive

  • Participate in sensing sessions for continuous improvements in attraction, retention and assimilation

  • Ensure thorough exit interviews are complete, share feedback to key stakeholders to learn and improve

60% Talent Acquisition/Community Relations

  • Lead local recruiting efforts including, debriefs, hiring process, and offers.

  • Participate in the interviewing and selection process to facilitate selection of qualified and diverse candidates

  • Promote Momentive brand and site value proposition to attract talent

  • Build local community talent pipelines and support ongoing relationships

  • Identify and attend recruitment events, such as career fairs

  • Lead the local internship and coop programs

  • Onboard new hires and provide key new hire support and information

  • Monitor new hire assimilation and provide feedback

  • Provide key support to new hires – including community tours

5% Compliance and Policy

  • Up to date on legal and compliance requirements within state / country / employee population

  • Local policy upkeep / changes / introductions

5% HR Skillset Development

  • Demonstrate basic business skills, such as PowerPoint, Excel, Workday, SharePoint, Success Factors

  • Develop strength in the suite of Core HR skills: Talent Acquisition, People Operations Lifecycle Relations, HR Systems, Compliance, EE Development and Performance, Total Compensation and internal equity

  • Build/maintain external market knowledge to support local needs

  • Initiate continuous improvement to HR processes to eliminate waste and raise service levels, including process documentation, workflow optimization, reassessing the value of work tasks

Travel Requirements:

  • At least 10% business dependent

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

· 2-4 years or more experience with talent acquisition and recruitment

· Bachelors degree in HR, Business or equivalent work experience

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Workday

· Knowledge of US, WV state and Texas state and federal labor laws

· Capable of multi-tasking and managing competing priorities

The follow are preferred qualifications for this role:

· Experience in HR and specifically recruitment in a manufacturing environment

. Experience with establishing community relationships to brand and build talent pipelines

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $60,300 - $88,550

The actua l salary offered i s determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill set s, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable . Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
