Adecco US, Inc. Logistics Shipping Specialist in Friendly, West Virginia
Daily Execution:
Responsible for learning and covering for specialist roles within the team: Bulk Specialist, Daily Shipping Specialist, Forward Planning and Transportation Specialist and Quality/Documentation Specialist
Responsible for helping to fill and cover in areas of high volume, demand and fluctuations
Responsible for following documented supply chain processes
Responsible for driving continuous improvement; idea generation to implementation
Responsible for maintaining a positive working environment including but not limited to openness and implementation of process improvement, change, and RCCA's
Responsible for bulk and warehouse vendor interactions, including all SAP transactions to support the completion of services and centralizing cost management data
Support the drafting of the area annual operating plan with the retention and validation of cost information and vendor performance
Responsible for inventory control transactions maintain inventory accuracy and meet financial reporting requirements. Maintain inventory records
Responsible for initial service complaint investigation and communication
Responsible for receiving small package items, completing necessary SAP transactions timely and accurately
Responsible to communicate any challenges, issues, delays and work to solve them by involving the right people and being solution oriented
Responsible for timely and accurate transactions in SAP relating to shipments( GR, PGID, Shipping confirmation)
Responsible for paperwork filing and organization, both digital and paper
Responsible for maintaining all training requirements on time and within compliance
Work with Service providers including but not limited to: Odyssey, BDP and Livingston to:
Understand drivers of controllable costs, such as detention and demurrage
Develop a solution to manage these costs
Focus on identifying cost reduction opportunities vie more efficient equipment utilization, off-hiring
Responsible for coordinating movements within the SVLL plant- delivering inputs, intermediate, packaging and bulk materials necessary to execute production in a timely and efficient manner
Responsible for logistics tracking via systems and tools(Tableau, Trailer Tracker, SAP)
Responsible for shipping hazardous chemicals accurately and safely, ensuring all documentation and labeling is accurate
Drive improvements in service & cost for regional logistics
BA/BS degree required
3-5 years Logistics and/or Supply Chain experience.
Proven track record of delivering results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work well with others, demonstrating great and positive teamwork
Change Management Skills- need to be able to create ideas, drive execution and/or support changes
Problem solving and solution driven
Working experience in utilizing SAP ERP platform
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Application(Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification desired.
APICS certification desired.
Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
