Insight Global SLED Business Development in Fremont, California

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Development candidate to support one of our customers based out of CA. This position will be a permanent position, fully remote, light travel involved and have a salary/bonus structure. As a Business Development professional focused on SLED (State, Local, and Education) portfolio, your daily job description will involve; Conducting research on the SLED market to understand current trends, opportunities, and potential clients. Identifying and prospecting new SLED clients through various channels, including networking events, conferences, and online platforms. Collaborating with the sales team to create compelling proposals that align with the specific needs of SLED clients. Leading capture efforts to secure new SLED contracts and projects, ensuring a thorough understanding of client requirements and competitive landscape. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers within the SLED sector. Analyzing data and market insights to strategize and adapt business development approaches for optimal success. Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to tailor offerings for the SLED market. Participating in client meetings and presentations, showcasing the company's capabilities and solutions tailored to SLED clients' needs. Monitoring and reporting on progress, sales, and revenue growth within the SLED portfolio. Staying updated on industry regulations and policies that may impact the SLED market, ensuring compliance and adaptability. This candidates understanding of the SLED market will be crucial in driving the company's growth and success within this specific sector. Strong proposal writing and capture skills will also play a pivotal role in securing new contracts and expanding the organization's SLED portfolio

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of Business Development experience within a federal or SLED portfolio.

Experience writing and being a part of the proposal process

Understanding of SLED market and terminology

Business capture and client relationship building

Experience identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities

Research and monitoring proposals

Understanding of BID and RFP processes SLED Business Development previous role null
