Job Title: Hazmat Technician

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st shift

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience

REQUIREMENTS :

Must have an active 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or a pending 8-hour refresher.

Description

In this role, you will process and consolidate various chemicals, including bio-hazardous materials, assist with loading and shipping hazardous waste, and respond to emergencies when called upon.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Tasks: Take charge of managing programs weekly and crafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that set the standard for excellence.

• Physical Work: Dive into hands-on tasks like drum pickups and lab packs. If you're not afraid to get dirty, this is the role for you!

• Compliance: Follow instructions meticulously, maintain a spotless driving record, and uphold the highest safety standards with your 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

• Efficiency: Be a trailblazer in identifying ways to streamline processes and boost efficiencies.

Experience: This isn't an entry-level position; bring your prior experience and expertise to the table.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification

• Driving Record: Clean DMV record

• Physical Requirements: Willingness to shave and wear a respirator

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
