Insight Global Field Commissioning Tech in Fremont, California

Job Description

- Test and commission COMPANY tracker installations and provide training to onsite internal employees and partner companies

- Provide tracker controller expertise, supporting controller commissioning process and ongoing maintenance

- Provide technical support for customers worldwide, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience and providing product and systems expertise to maximize customer value

- Manage controller commissioning process for customer acceptance of COMPANY tracker installations for placement of warranty

- Play a key role in third-party qualification for O&M providers

- Support product development, sales, and marketing as requested

- Work closely with the Remote Monitoring Team providing in-the-field repairs and documenting all issues

- Manage field testing of prototype and beta product lines

- Support in the development of controller technical documentation for Commissioning and O&M, including revision control

- Able to carry a $1000 balance at a time on a personal credit card for travel expenses

Skills and Requirements

- 3-5+ years of experience in commissioning for power plants (Ideally wind)

- Experience troubleshooting network connections in the field

- Ability to work in the heat, cold, rain, mud - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Prior military experience null
