About You and this Role
Dow has an exciting opportunity for an EH&S Delivery Manager, located in Freeport, Texas.
Leads hub or site EH&S compliance and implementation of the safety management system in one of multiple fields including but not limited to health & safety (H&S), environmental, air, water and industrial hygiene. Maintains the license to operate for the site or hub. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
Responsibilities
Leads implementation of global EH&S management systems.
Leads EH&S performance improvement of assigned plant(s), site, hub, and business.
Coordinates, implements, and optimizes EH&S programs and compliance programs across site/hub.
Participates in incident investigations and the corrective action process for EH&S issues and opportunities.
Performs central review of all EH&S related documents and submittals to ensure consistency and compliance goals are met.
Performs Requirements Management Work Process (RWMP) roles as needed.
Initiates and supports MOCs for EH&S programs and compliance matters as necessary.
Acts as Agency Visit protocol owner and implementer.
Manages permits including submittal of permit applications for new and modified equipment, requests for permit changes, and submittal of permit renewal applications.
Performs site or plant gap assessments around EH&S work process implementation.
Develops, reviews, monitors, creates and deliver training as appropriate.
Participate in and provide data for Environmental audits, internal and external
Collects, inputs and calculates Environmental reporting information.
Provides data and other information to air permit writers to prepare Permit by Rules or Permit Amendment applications for emission or operational changes.
Conducts or is at least involved with environmental self-assessments/audit privileges.
Project manager for Performance Testing required for Thermal Treatment facilities
Provide environmental support for projects and changes within Thermal Treatment facilities.
Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor's degreeorrelevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking.
A minimum of 6 years EH&S, manufacturing or related experience.
Must have a current, valid US Driver's License.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
