Robert Half Financial Analyst in Freemont, California

Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Toms River, New Jersey, in the role of Financial Analyst. The primary function of this role will be to support the Accounting/Finance department in various tasks. This position is part of the telecom industry and will be based in a hybrid workplace, with the flexibility to work remotely for a day in a week. The employment type for this role is temporary.

Responsibilities:

• Aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports.

• Generate financial packages ensuring accuracy and comprehensive reporting.

• Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management.

• Understand and work with scenario planning tools/models while analyzing trends in general business conditions.

• Research accounting issues and recognize potential issues.

• Use Microsoft Excel extensively for tasks such as creating pivot tables and sorting data.

• Use Microsoft Outlook for managing communication and scheduling.

• Perform ad hoc financial and accounting functions as needed.

• Ensure the quality assurance of financial data and reports.

• Use Microsoft Office Suites for various tasks to maintain the efficiency of operations. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, planning, and research.

• Ability to review and perform ad hoc financial analyses as required.

• Familiarity with pivot tables and financial modeling tools.

• Experience with accounting functions and finance operations.

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems and QA management principles.

• Ability to pass a prescreening process and drug test.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications such as CFA or CPA will be an advantage.

• Experience with financial forecasting and risk assessment.

• Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.

• Good understanding of economic and financial trends.

• Ability to handle large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
