SPECIAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATIONS:             Master's Degree from an accredited college or university                                        Administrator's Certificate/Licensure                                        Valid Ohio Licensure                                        Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in Special Education as a teacher                                         or related service provider REPORTS TO:                   Superintendent of Schools

FLSA STATUS:                  Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:      Direct and oversee the Special Education programs in the district, as well as, Nurse,                                             Health Services, Related Services, Social Workers, and Home Education.                                      Coordinate and assist with builidng administrators and related services with all facets of                                       special education testing and administration.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:     Regular, full-time - 229 day working contract; Salary and Fringe Benefits are based on                                       District Salary and Benefit Schedule
