Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our team in the Fredericks, Maryland Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Develop and execute software test plans.

*Create test plans with test cases based on user stories.

*Utilize automated and manual processes to generate data and implement test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the Agile team.

*Ensure that quality software is provided for release to production by independently executing test scripts.

*Write test scripts.

*Review requirements, specifications, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified.

*Create and modify test scripts to certify system changes. Basic Qualifications:

*A bachelors degree

*A minimum of (4) four years of experience as a software tester utilizing manual testing and automation testing to include automation tools.

*Knowledge of coding with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services

*Knowledge of applying QA methodology in Agile or Scrum environments

*Ability to work with different teams across organizations to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis. Preferred Qualifications:

*Software Quality Assurance experience with TMIP-J applications

*SAFe certifications such as: SAFe for Teams, SAFe DevOps, SAFe Agile Software Engineering, Leading SAFe Clearance Requirements:

*Must be a U.S. citizen

*Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Physical Requirements:

*Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

*Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

*Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

*Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet

*Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
