Aston Carter Facilities Coordinator in Frederick, Maryland

Job Title: Facilities Project CoordinatorJob Description

The Facilities Project Coordinator schedules and creates preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for production and non-production equipment and systems. This role involves communicating with Production Managers, Facilities Manager, Supervisors, and contract personnel to optimize maintenance schedules and minimize production downtime. Responsibilities include managing service agreements, processing work orders, generating inventory reports, maintaining documentation, assisting contractors, performing data entry in a CMMS, and managing projects. The Coordinator also ensures compliance with cGMP and ISO standards, supervises in-house projects, and provides training to facilities personnel. The Coordinator works independently or under direct supervision, and may act as a backup leader when necessary.

Hard Skills

  • Knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements in a manufacturing/laboratory environment

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Frederick, Maryland.

Work Environment

Hours: 1st shift 7-3pm. The Coordinator oversees maintenance, security, metrology, and environmental services groups, and works with a full-time maintenance team consisting of two maintenance technicians on 1st and 2nd shifts. The role is strategic, with responsibilities including project oversight and backup leadership when required.
