Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a Bacteriology Staff Scientist to conduct and assist in research on specified bacterial threats in support of the BD and infectious disease program. The successful candidate will work in BSL-3 laboratories and must hold and maintain BPRP and CS-PRP status.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conducting and assisting in research on bacterial threats.

• Performing laboratory experiments and data analysis.

• Preparing scientific reports and publications.

• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Providing technical support for ongoing research projects.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Ph.D. or D.V.M. with research experience in bacteriology, animal physiology, or similar field

• U.S. Citizen

• Must pass NACI background check.

• Must be willing to work in a BSL 3/4 laboratory.

• Must be eligible to enroll in the BPRP and CS-PRP programs.

• Ability to hold and maintain BPRP and CS-PRP status.

• Proficiency in conducting laboratory experiments and data analysis.

Salary Range:

$128,700.00 - $231,700.00
