In this role, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for using Lean Six Sigma methodology to drive operational process improvements. This position will identify, develop, and execute Lean Six Sigma events at the plant. The Continuous Improvement Manager will provide mentoring, coaching, and training as needed at the plant to support the use of the Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business, Science or related field 3 years\' experience working in a manufacturing setting Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing direct reports Lean certification and/or Six Sigma belt Experience facilitating Kaizen sessions Past experience implementing a corporate-wide Operational Excellence initiative Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Identify and drive improvement opportunities in productivity, material consumption, other operation expenses, quality, safety, and space utilization by leading Kaizen Events, 5S, Kanban, Root Cause Analysis, and other CI efforts. Develop and maintain both short and long-term Continuous Improvement Strategy. Act as a change agent, systematically driving the use of Lean Six Sigma for continuous improvement and change throughout the plant. Identify and deploy Lean Six Sigma best practices within the plant and across benchmark facilities, actively develop and improve the focus improvement function and discipline by sharing best practices and projects with peers at other sites. Coaches and mentors\' employees on the practical application of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Develops, communicates, and implements key metrics to monitor progress and effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
