Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Franklin, Tennessee

Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee. In this role, you will be integral to our financial operations, providing vital support in managing our company's accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and offering strategic insights to drive our growth.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights to senior management to support decision-making.

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in accounting standards impacting the healthcare sector.

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.

• Handle full cycle AR, including collections.

• Coordinate with the finance team in supporting and developing the budget and rolling forecasts. Requirements • Must possess expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in General Ledger management and Journal Entries is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience with Month End Close processes is essential.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP is a must.

• The candidate must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.

• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

• CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Must possess a high level of integrity and dependability.
