Robert Half Bilingual HR Generalist in Franklin, Tennessee

Description

We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Bilingual (Spanish) HR Generalist. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities in the HR function, with a focus on employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. The role will be based in our office location, providing support to a diverse workforce within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, including the organization of first-day activities and the accuracy of onboarding documents

• Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, liaising with recruitment agencies, and extending job offers

• Oversee the coordination of employee benefits and manage the Leave of Absence process

• Keep employee records up-to-date and accurate

• Foster employee engagement and a positive workplace culture through the organization of special events and meetings

• Serve as a primary HR contact, advising on effective employment practices and handling employee inquiries or grievances

• Collaborate with local management on employment matters, including performance management

• Oversee the entire cycle of employee onboarding and offboarding, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations

• Conduct employee investigations and suggest actions in case of policy violations

• Stay current with state/federal employment laws and company policies

• Deliver training sessions to employees and managers on job-related activities, company policies, and best practices

• Implement HR programs, processes, and procedures as directed

• Promote a high standard HR department where diversity, equality, and inclusion are prioritized.

Requirements • Proficiency in both English and a second language, as the role requires bilingual communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of HR practices and principles, including compliance with labor laws and regulations.

• Experience with benefit functions, including administration and coordination of employee benefits programs.

• Proficient in employee relations, with the ability to handle grievances and disciplinary procedures.

• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in the workplace.

• Experience using HRIS systems, specifically UltiPro, for managing HR data.

• Proficiency in using Greenhouse, an applicant tracking system, for recruitment purposes.

• Experience in recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial, as it provides context for the HR practices in this industry.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to employees and management.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, to effectively address and resolve HR-related issues.
