Property Management Director:

Franklin County Community Housing Council is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Affordable Housing team as Property Management Director. Position responsible for all agency physical assets, with an emphasis on the maintenance of our 187 housing units in scattered locations throughout Franklin and Northern Essex counties, with daily travel within these areas required.
Duties include the supervision and scheduling of three skilled technicians based on work order priorities; scheduling unit entries with residents; routine surveillance of physical properties; ensure ongoing compliance of building health and safety standards in partnership with resident households through periodic unit inspections; minimize unit vacancy rates; execution of procedures for reporting program expenses and inventory to the Finance Office; drafting bids and negotiating/securing contracts with subcontractors; negotiating and executing annual utility contracts; participation in NYS monitoring site visits; collaborate with local Code Enforcement and other County/Town/Village Departments; co-forecast property budgets and plan capital improvement projects.
Candidates must demonstrate a background in building maintenance and/or affordable housing management with strong leadership and organizational skills; possess positive, effective interpersonal skills; be comfortable working with MS Office; maintain a valid NYS drivers license; and be committed to principles of Fair Housing Standards with ability to work collaboratively with other members of our team and our valued residents. The selected candidate must successfully pass a background screening. This position has on call responsibilities and reports directly to the FCCHC CEO.
