Ameresco Procurement Analyst in Framingham, Massachusetts

Position Summary:

The Procurement Analyst serves as the main point of contact between Development, Construction, and our vendors. Responsible for establishing and maintain relationships with vendors and strategic partners; as well as managing the equipment procurement process from RFP development and bid solicitation through proposal review and contract execution. This is a hybrid position based out of Framingham, MA, Portland, ME, or Phoenix, AZ reporting to our Director of Procurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Project support through bidder list creation, RFP development, bid solicitation and review, and contract award.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand equipment and material procurement strategies and objectives.

  • Manages the qualification and evaluation process for equipment and material vendors, subcontractors, and service providers.

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for applicable spend categories.

  • Negotiates commercial terms and conditions with equipment and material vendors while consulting with legal department and senior management.

  • Build sustainable business partnerships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.

  • Prioritizes tasks with a focus on strategic versus tactical activities.

  • Conduct strategic spend analytics to identify opportunities for value delivery.

  • Drive annual productivity improvements in applicable spend categories, best practices, and value through supplier relationship management.

  • Uphold internal and external policies, regulations, and laws.

  • Lead regular vendor performance reviews.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with procurement sourcing.

  • Experience developing and fostering relationships with strategic suppliers.

  • Extremely detail-oriented with ability to track multiple projects managed by multiple project managers.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Construction contracting and/or maintenance projects procurement preferred.

  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues at multiple management and business unit levels and locations.

  • Strong verbal, written, computer, financial data, and customer-focused communication and presentation skills, including demonstrated experience utilizing Accounting software.

  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities.
