Role Purpose

​Lead and shape the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team and capability within Enterprise Business Systems. Develop and manage systems, data, and processes supporting financial planning & analysis (FP&A), financial models, global consolidation, financial reporting, data governance, transformation initiatives & data-driven projects. Responsible for capturing and analyzing requirements from Finance, business stakeholders and partner with IT developers and outside contractors to deliver solutions. This position will support office of the CFO and business stakeholders by liaison closely with IT, HR, Operations, and other cross-functional teams. Will manage projects and people.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.

  • Deliver customer service focused on business units, centers of excellence and business partners.

  • Lead Business Systems Analysts to plan and execute near and long-term financial modeling and applications that support key financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes such as Total Shareholder Return (TSR), Integrated Value Creation Plan (IVCP), Annual Execution Plan (AEP), period close governance reporting, and forecasting on EPM platforms such as Oracle Essbase, Anaplan, and OneStream.

  • Facilitate discovery intake of business requirements and existing reports to generate user stories to drive the business intelligence lifecycle.

  • Deliver meaningful and insightful reports & analytics just-in-time for the business using Agile methodology.

  • Advanced skills of one of the leading EPM solutions including Oracle EPM/Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream.

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data products including Essbase, Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Data Integration

  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Essbase calc scripts, MDX, and data validation technics.

  • Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to provide feedback and coaching to other analysts.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.

  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.

  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.

  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.

  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.

  • Environment where pets are present.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in information systems, finance, business analytics or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis and software development with emphasis in enterprise performance management (EPM) and business intelligence (BI)

  • 3+ years of management experience in developing and leading team members through performance review cycle

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability synthesize business requirements and translate into technical specifications.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization as well as external customers.

  • Ability to independently address a company system application need with business users, cooperatively conceive a direction, and bring forth a recommended proposal for management review.

  • Industry experience within Retail, Banking, Hospital/Healthcare is preferred.

Salary: $151,813 – $227,720
