10782: Sr. Software Engineer – EAI

Location – Fountain Valley, CA

Purpose:

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for the webMethods EAI Administrator and participates in the design, creation, and maintenance of computerized databases. Responsible for quality control and auditing of EAI systems to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Works with management to develop EAI strategies to support company needs. Consults with and advises users on access to various environments. Works directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage.

Essential Functions:

• Administrators are responsible for the day-to-day management of the EAI environment. (design, creation, and maintenance)

• Support and development of applications.

• EAI Performance tuning, applications tuning and optimizing EAI architecture.   

• Actively participate in Incident Mgmt and Problem Mgmt (e.g. RCA) processes

• Maintain Change Mgmt compliance

• 24x7 On-call for operational support and emergency response

• Develop and maintain SOPs, diagrams, other related documentation and requirements

• Ensure operational performance is in accordance with KPIs, SLAs, SLOs.

• Ensure certificates and licenses are up-to-date and installed on products and devices.

• Ensure security patches and configuration are adhered to company standard.

• Manage high availability/clustering/redundancy using native tools

• Support in Disaster Recovery planning and execution

• Conduct in-depth assessments and analysis of the current environment and recommend improvements.

  Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS desired or 8+ years relevant work experience in related functional role

• Experience in WM/SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) code development and implementation is required

• Experience in Web Services, REST API, Cloud systems, XML/XSLT, EDI, JAVA, JSP, Oracle, SAP, Linux, FTP/SFTP, EAI, B2b is required

• Experience with webMethods solution is required

• Experience in supporting and administering WM software on Linux platform

• Experience with setup and configuration of high availability system

• Experience in overseeing version control and software repository systems and tools

• Experience with Java and shell scripting languages

• Knowledge with Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB is a plus

• Knowledge in Cloud environment architecture is a plus

• ITIL v3 or higher is a plus

• Knowledge in ServiceNow or other related ITSM ticketing tools

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks / Projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly motivated with a desire to improve skills, processes and procedures.

  Salary Range - $98,060 - $151,008
