Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team, focusing on operating heavy machinery on closed construction sites for underground utilities installation in new build projects. Responsibilities include digging trenches, laying pipes, backfilling trenches, cutting grading, and assisting with general site duties. Projects are mainly located from Castle Rock to Pueblo, with potential assignments in Rocky Ford and possibly Buckley Airforce Base.

Hard Skills

• Experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and skids

• Ability to grade with an accuracy of +/- 0.10'

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints

• Experience in cutting grade and shooting grade with lasers

• Class A license (preferred but not required)

Soft Skills

• Reliable and punctual

• Hardworking and willing to learn

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Capability to interpret specs and drawings

• Teachable and eager to contribute to team success

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Calhan, Colorado.
