Job Description

Due to an internal movement, our Civil Infrastructure team in Queensland is seeking a proactive and collaborative Pursuits and Bids Lead . This role will lead the bid lifecycle for infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and contractors to navigate bid processes and manage project pipelines.

  • Acting as an independent reviewer and client advocate on must-win decisions.

  • Driving bid development for strategic pursuits in collaboration with bid partners and the wider bids and marketing teams.

  • Crafting compelling submissions that highlight our value proposition, service differentiation, and key client messages.

  • Managing the bid process alongside technical leads, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions and presentations.

  • Liaising with clients and participating in tender briefings, debriefs, and implementing lessons learned.

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Ideally, 10 years of relevant experience in Bids and Pursuits processes, encompassing all aspects of winning work, including pre-contracts, tendering, and pursuits management.

  • Proven ability to build strong internal client relationships, gain trust, and effectively support senior leaders in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.

  • Infrastructure experience is required, preferably with a background in Civil Infrastructure, though candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

  • Proactive team player with strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and exceptional attention to detail.
