Who You Are

As a Global Supply Chain Senior Contracts Analyst, you are an experienced professional with a legal, contracts or supply chain management background. You have a good understanding of the FAR and DFARS with supplier management experience including negotiations and subcontract terms and conditions. You are comfortable working under general direction and are adept at providing specialized guidance on contract terms and conditions, regulations, contracting strategies, and other contract matters.

What You Will Be Doing

In this highly visible and fast paced role, the selected candidate will be responsible for advocating for the best interests of the company in contract negotiations and administration, ensuring compliance to policies and regulations, mitigating risk, and partnering with others to obtain positive business results.

In this role, you will:

• Manage, review, approve, negotiate, and provide guidance on subcontract terms and conditions

• Interpret and understand regulations and contract language to ensure compliance, resolve conflicts, address policy and procedure issues

• Identify, develop, and maintain processes, tools, training and other resources for the benefit of the organization

• Support the mitigation of risks, issues, and opportunities related to contract terms and conditions

• Interface internally and externally with Global Supply Chain, Legal, Contracts, Price/Cost Analysis, and other functional areas at all levels of the organization

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university

• Supplier negotiation experience

• Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously

• Experience with US Government Contracting and the FAR and DFARS

Desired Skills:

• Master's degree in a related field and/or Law Degree (JD)

• Experienced and effective communicator (written, verbal and presentation) with demonstrated ability to communicate complicated subject matter efficiently and to succinctly to stakeholders including executives

• Experience working for a large defense contractor

• Experience in regulatory compliance, contracts, or supply chain management

• Experience in data analytics and/or process improvement

• Experience analyzing, resolving, and negotiating supplier exceptions to terms and conditions

• Experience in Federal procurement law and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)

• Claims, disputes, disclosures, or remedy experience

• DOD Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
