Description

Due to continuous growth our client is looking to add another Staff Accountant to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking for a stable non- profit company, has the ability to work in a fast paced environment and enjoys a variety of responsibilities. This position is 100% onsite with flexible hours 4 day work week and great benefits!

Interested professionals must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, month-end close, variance

analysis and financial reporting. CPA or MBA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit financial statements, grant applications,

and reports in a timely manner

• Develop and adjust budgets, ensuring timely submission of

reimbursements from funders

• Maintain accounting records and systems in QuickBooks

• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and

bank deposits

• Provide support for annual independent audits and tax filings

• Assist with daily cash flow management

• Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of government

grants and participate in audits conducted by grantors

• Compile monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports

• Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills required:

• Non-Profit Accounting experience Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries

• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with QuickBooks

• University Degree in relevant field.
