Maintenance Steering Group - 3
Bell is seeking a Senior Aerospace Logistics Specialist to perform Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3) / Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) on the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Program at our Fort Worth, Texas location.
This position is responsible for performing and presenting the analysis necessary to develop affordable and sustainable scheduled maintenance programs using Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3) techniques.
Senior Aerospace Logistics Specialist (MSG-3)
Perform analysis on FLRAA systems to include Rotors, Drives, Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Landing Gear, ECS, Avionics and Electrical
Policy and Procedure Handbook (PPH) development and revisions
Systems Level 1 & 2 analysis using specific analytical software (Reliasoft) to analyze aircraft system failure data and develop initial scheduled maintenance task and interval requirements.
Structures and Zonal including L/HIRF & EWIS, MSG-3 analysis to develop initial scheduled maintenance tasks and interval requirements.
Development of initial scheduled maintenance program deliverables for a successful military rotorcraft airworthiness approval process
Review, assessment, and incorporation of approved engineering and customer directed changes impacting schedule maintenance programs
Performance necessary to established quality, budget, and schedule requirements (EVMS)
Understanding and basic knowledge of MSG-3, Operator/Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance, Volume 2 – Rotorcraft
Minimum five years’ experience in any of the aviation systems disciplines
Coordination with Engineers, Suppliers, US Army, and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel to perform analysis of aircraft systems and establish initial minimum scheduled maintenance tasks and intervals
Participate in meetings with the US Army Program Steering Committee and Working Group members to analyze aircraft systems and structures and present results to the US Army for approval
Provide initial/recurring MSG-3 training to US Army and DoD Working Group members on proper selection of maintenance and structural significant items to perform level I and level II analysis

Reliability and Maintainability processes
FMEA, FMECA, & FRACAS analytics
Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP)
Condition Based Maintenance (CBM )
Predictive/Prognostic Maintenance (PPMx)
Looking for multiple maintenance disciplines:
Powerplant and Propulsion
Mechanical (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Environmental systems)
Avionics/Electrical (including fly by wire flight controls)
Position level and salary commensurate with experience
Tools :
- Basic knowledge in Reliasoft, Relyance, ENOVIA, CATIA, SharePoint, MS Office
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an aviation technical discipline or 5-6 years aviation maintenance experience will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
5- 6 years of aviation maintenance experience. Tiltrotor experience a plus.
Prior experience in maintenance engineering desirable
Airframe & Powerplant license preferred but not required
