Lockheed Martin Quality Engineer (Level 2) in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This position is for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) working with various Air Vehicle & Mission System (AV&MS) suppliers of complex products. Candidate will be located in Fort Worth Tx or Marietta GA.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on supplier performance metrics, AV&MS performance metrics, and perform surveillance (FOD & Counterfeit Parts Protection) audits, control builds & core team projects supporting all AV&MS SQE's.

The selected candidate will be accountable for collaborating with executive leadership at the supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve technical and contractual issues, and ensuring execution aligns with the quality and affordability goals set by the LM Aero programs.

Must be a US Citizen.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

• Data analytics skills, Microsoft suite experience: Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• The position requires about 10-25% travel within the United States.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Quality Management Systems, e.g., International (ISO), National (AS) standards.

• Experience performing complete root cause/corrective and/or preventive action as related to supplier performance.

• Working knowledge of continuous improvement

• Strong communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
