Robert Half HR Generalist in Fort Worth, Texas
Description We are in the manufacturing industry, located in Fort Worth, Texas and we're in search of an HR Generalist. As an HR Generalist, your role will be pivotal in managing various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. You will also actively engage with department managers, the staffing agency, and the HR Manager to ensure smooth HR operations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the recruitment process, from job postings and resume screening to scheduling interviews
• Manage the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the team
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues
• Collaborate with payroll teams for accurate and timely payroll processing
• Assist in the coordination of training sessions and workshops for employees, supporting the administration of performance management processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, in compliance with data protection regulations
• Prepare and analyze HR reports, providing insights to the HR Manager
• Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Act as the primary point of contact for the staffing agency, managing time-off requests and reporting issues
• Support management with organizational development strategies and workforce planning
• Issue and manage company resources such as ID badges, radios, lockers, and other equipment
• Actively participate in HR projects and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an HR Generalist, or in a similar role, within the manufacturing industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing benefit functions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven track record in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and grievance handling
• Proficiency in the onboarding process, ensuring smooth integration of new hires into the company
• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, including recruitment and selection processes
• Fluency in Spanish is required
