Lockheed Martin Facility Operations Manager -Level 5 in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Central Plant and Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of environmental machinery such as chillers, boilers, HVAC systems, and associated equipment used to support the infrastructure via Energy Management Control Systems. In this role, you will lead a team of Facility Operations Leaders, union-represented employees, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Facility Operations Leaders, union-represented employees, and external vendors.

• Maintenance Operations: Manage and maintain the daily operations of environmental machinery including chillers, boilers, HVAC systems, and related equipment.

• Preventive Maintenance: Oversee scheduling and planning of preventive maintenance instructions and garage motor vehicle equipment.

• Budget Administration: Responsible for budget administration, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.

• Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Workflow Analysis: Conduct workflow analysis to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.

• Capital Acquisitions: Recommend capital acquisitions or modifications to improve infrastructure and equipment efficiency.

• Energy Management: Utilize Energy Management Control Systems to monitor and manage environmental machinery and infrastructure.

• Manage leaders, individual contributors, internal represented employees, vendors and sub-contractors

• Perform RCA (root cause analysis) of failed equipment

• Project utilization plans to support production build rates

• Manage the maintenance, service, and repair of numerous Production machinery assets of varying vintage and complexity

• Implement RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) techniques and procedures

• Assist with the development and drive the implementation of predictive maintenance technologies with a focus on uptime.

• Manage business operations KPIs: Ability to manage departmental established budgets, safety, and quality requirements.

• Oversee and manage contract services: Proficient in handling Purchase Orders, On-Calls, and Maintenance Service Agreements in accordance with government regulations.

• Union environment management: Experience managing operations in a unionized setting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experienced professional with managing maintenance/repair operations: Expertise in Boilers, Chillers, and Air Compressors within an expansive manufacturing environment.

• Experience with handling Purchase Orders, On-Calls, and/or Maintenance Service Agreements in accordance with government regulations.

• Experience with Planning and Scheduling in programs such CMMS/ Maximo, etc

Desired Skills:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience directing and managing employees.

• Union leadership: Proven experience leading in a union environment.

• Communication: Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• CMMS proficiency: Experience utilizing MAXIMO or other Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platforms.

• Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) practices.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
