Lockheed Martin F-35 Transformation IT Business Partner in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: The F-35 Transformation IT Business Partner role is a key position in the Aeronautics Business Transformation (BX) Strategy and Business Agility organization, serving as a member of the F-35 Executive Staff, responsible for obtaining all IT capabilities needed to transform and perform on future and current contracts, as well as driving the roadmap, adoption, and value reporting for One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) transformational capabilities. The F-35 ITBP also leverages Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) capabilities and teams across the corporation. The selected candidate will be critical in establishing a clear path to achieve the organization's business and digital transformation objectives.

This leadership role is over a team that leverages in depth understanding of the F-35 business to collaborate with the Line of Business (LoB) to formulate and implement enterprise-wide business, organizational and information technology strategies. The team stays abreast of emerging technology, captures requirements, and secures resources in support of F-35 portfolio of contracts in classified and unclassified environments. The selected individual will be accountable for leading all elements of the F-35 business transformation portfolio including stakeholder relationships, strategic roadmaps (short term and long term), supporting affordability targets, and development of the F-35 business partner team.

The selected candidate will work with the LoB, functional IT experience groups, and the 1LMX organization to meet LoB requirements, leverage business acumen to understand F-35 business priorities, risks and opportunities, and collaborate with F-35, Aero BX, and EBDT to deliver business value via transformational capabilities in a measured, agile, and affordable way. The selected leader will be responsible for applying Agile lean portfolio management to value streams, organization and staff, strategic alignment of portfolio – developing and maintaining training plans for team around agile methodologies and lean portfolio management.

Primary Aero BX POC to LoB and Program leadership, supporting LOB Reviews and business rhythms

Responsible for managing the LoB digital portfolio, to include 1LMX/transformation and IT products and services.

Aligns Aero BX and 1LMX strategies to the LoB strategies across Programs

Captures LoB business needs and point points as inputs to Aero BX governance process to prioritize new transformation capability investment across Aero/1LMX

Monitor capability deliveries to validate business value is realized and reported within the LoB

Aligns LoB business needs with 1LMX and Aero transformation capability portfolios and roadmaps. Drive development and maintenance of 1LMX LoB/Program Roadmaps

Educate Program on the 1LMX portfolio, ensuring the full transformation portfolio is understood and leveraged in business development and proposals

Collaborate with other LoB Transformation Business Partners to identify synergies and drive alignment and prioritization across LoBs to achieve strategic business outcomes

Ensure risks are identified, tracked and mitigated and opportunities identified to reduce cost and schedule while increasing and/or optimizing performance

Proactively keep LoB and Aero BX executive management apprised of issues/recovery plans

Basic Qualifications:

Program Management or equivalent experience managing a complex program and proven prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.

• Experience developing transformation strategy by building key relationships and operationalizing them into streamlined, agile execution plans, leading teams to deliver high value solutions.

• Proven ability to examine multiple strategic options and select a course of action and direction for future business requirements, successfully partnering with the Line of Business and functional supporting organizations to achieve common objectives.

• Must possess effective executive level verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting internally and externally.

• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

• Experience with Aerospace and Defense Program Finance, Contracts, or Earned Value Management including Control Account Manager (CAM) or leader of CAMs

• Experience in processes for Business Development and Proposal Development

• Knowledge of the LoB product portfolio

• Ability to travel as required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
