Lockheed Martin F-35 CNI Electronics Engineer Sr Stf in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Production

Quickly respond to urgent requests from the Production Flight Line for information/troubleshooting – requires prior Communication, Navigation, Identification (CNI) system knowledge and understanding of engineering source documentation.

Work with Manufacturing Test Engineers/Mission System Technicians to discover and troubleshoot hardware or software issues to resolution – including Root Cause Corrective Action with supplier.

Proficiently diagnose/verify/analyze system failures for purposes of System Product Anomaly Reports (SPAR) documentation.

Sustainment

Analyze and provide detailed instructions to customer when they have exhausted their routine troubleshooting guidance.

Support/lead CNI related Reliability and Maintainability Improvement Projects / Maintenance Change Plans – resulting in more efficient and effective aircraft maintenance for the entire fleet.

Daily analysis of physical repairs, repair cost, Retest Okay (RTOK) analytics - accomplished on hardware sent back to supplier.

Travel to specified military bases to assist/train customer on CNI system and best troubleshooting practices.

Basic Qualifications:

On-aircraft 5th Gen aircraft mission system troubleshooting experience on a Communication Navigation Identification (CNI) avionics suite.

Desired Skills:

Thorough understanding of engineering processes/tools (Engineering Review Board, Change Requests, Signal Interface Management System (SIMS), etc…..

Familiarity with Aerospace Equipment Instructions (AEI) / Joint Technical Data (JTD) and the processes involved to maintain/update engineering source documentation

Experience leading/succeeding in efforts that result in a wholistic improvement to a process

Understanding of hardware repair logistics between supplier/LM and LM/customer.

Ability to generate and articulate training slides on the system from a customer-centric viewpoint.

Exemplary multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills

Supplier Management experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
