Texas Health Southwest seeks to hire an Endoscopic Technician PRN GI Lab to work as needed in the Endoscopic Services department.Location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave Fort Worth, TX 76104Work Schedule: Monday-Friday PRN varied days Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures * Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient.* Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures* Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures.* Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req

Experience

2 Years GI clinical or hospital experience Pref

Licenses and Certifications

prefer GI certification

CRCST – Certified registered Central Service Technician

Or

CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician

CNA - Certified Nurses Aide Upon Hire Pref Or

MA - Medical Assistant Upon Hire Pref Or

EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Upon Hire Pref And

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
