Lockheed Martin Deputy/Director, F-35 Development in Fort Worth, Texas

As the Deputy to the VP, F-35 Development Program Office, the candidate is responsible for strategic development and execution across the F-35 Air System for the F-35 program. Working with both internal and external customers to ensure successful planning and execution of Development and Modernization efforts along with closeout of the System Design and Development (SDD) contract. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for ensuring successful proposal execution and contracting mechanisms aligned to the Start Green / Stay Green initiative. Once on contract, the selected candidate will be responsible for enabling integration and execution to meet customer and business commitments by working across the various directorates within the F-35 Development PMO as well as the other PMOs within the F-35 Program. To achieve commitments, the selected candidate will work closely with the functional organizations, coalescing several ongoing future-look activities with new work agreed by both customer and LM.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree or greater with 10+ years relevant experience.

•Program management in fighter aircraft development, production, or sustainment.

•Program Management experience developing and executing the strategies for working with the external and internal customer including working with Military customers.

•Experience managing & delivering government contracts.

•Experience leading large teams overseeing multiple complex programs.

Desired Skills:

•F-35 mission systems experience.

•Experience leading large enterprise mission-based initiatives and program activities.

•Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

•Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and leadership development.

•Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matter / solutions with senior leadership.

•Technical background.

•Program management lifecycle experience in fighter aircraft platforms.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
