Lockheed Martin Cyber System Security Engineer - Cyber System Admin - Level 3 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Seeking an IT systems engineer with experience in real-time, heterogeneous laboratory environments to become a member of the Cyber Infrastructure Engineering (CIE) team supporting the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG).

Successful candidate will be responsible for technical support of integrated systems comprised of Linux and MS Windows.

Individual will work with development teams, customers and vendors to configure, integrate, modify, upgrade, and troubleshoot system software and hardware.

Tasks will include system administration, systems integration, security hardening, operations and maintenance.

Individual must have overall knowledge of all system and network administration tasks on the above platforms including managing user accounts, data backup, networking, security, disk management, software license management, etc.

Candidates must exhibit excellent problem solving skills, be a team player, possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be able to adjust work schedule periodically to support program activities.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience Computer System Administration

• Strong Linux/Unix system administrator experience

• Windows Server system administrator experience

• CompTIA Security+ or any DoD 8570 level 2 certification

Desired Skills:

• Experience with SUSE or RHEL Linux.

• Experience with VMware and virtual machines

• Cybersecurity RMF/JSIG experience applying STIGs and system hardening

• Patch management tools such as Ivanti or WSUS

• Experience with UNIX shell scripting (sh/csh/ksh/bash) or PowerShell

• Experience with NetApp NAS or SAN solutions

• Experience with McAfee ePO

• Experience with Nessus Security Center

• Experience with Splunk

• Understanding of networks and switches

• Experience with Ansible

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
