Lockheed Martin Chief Engineer Sr Stf (Level 5) in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This person will play a critical role within the F-16 Chief Engineers Office, responsible for the overall technical integrity of the F-16 air system for a

portfolio of F-16 programs. The selected candidate must have a detailed understanding of F-16 systems architecture, hardware/software products

through the full development life cycle, including requirements definition, system design/development/integration, test/verification and sustainment. The candidate will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The candidate will help ensure adherence to, and consistency of, program processes and tools per the applicable Systems Engineering plans and LM Command

Media. The position requires the ability to effectively collaborate with a wide variety of engineering disciplines, USG and end-user customers, program management, suppliers, and campaign/proposal teams (BM/BD/ADP) to ensure sound technical planning for executable programs.

The candidate is required to analyze system capabilities to resolve questions from both internal and external customers related to the air

system. The candidate will ensure that the necessary technical resources, drawn from the appropriate engineering disciplines across the Aeronautics organization, are leveraged to solve complex technical challenges. The candidate will support development of cross-platform technology

roadmaps and strategies that integrate the various roadmap capabilities into transition ready products.

Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field required

• Experience leader or individual contributor in

air system design, development and integration

• Experience in systems engineering in all phases of product development and sustainment

• Experience managing change, identify issues,

work with stakeholders to develop solutions

• Experience interacting with and influence

customer leadership at all levels

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance and SAP/SAR clearance

Desired Skills:

• Advanced degree with at least 15 years of engineering experience

• Avionics Subsystem and/or Weapons Integration experience

• F-16 Project Management experience

• F-16 Upgrade Program familiarity

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
