The Department of Biological Sciences at Tarleton State University seeks to expand its pool of applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions to teach face to face and/or online classes in biomedical sciences at our Fort Worth campus. Potential courses include but are not limited to: Immunology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Histology, General Physiology, and Microbiology. Adjunct instructors are hired to teach on a temporary and part-time basis. Adjunct instructors teaching courses for credit must meet the same requirements for professional and scholarly preparation as their full-time counterparts teaching in the same discipline.

Required Qualifications : Master's degree in discipline or close related field and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications: Earned doctorate in discipline or closely related field. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level. Adjunct instructors are hired to teach on a temporary and part-time basis. Adjunct instructors teaching courses for credit must meet the same requirements for professional and scholarly preparation as their full-time counterparts teaching in the same discipline.

Applicants are subject to a criminal history investigation, and employment is contingent upon the institution’s verification of credentials and/or other information required by the institution’s procedures, including the completion of the criminal history check.
