Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Fort Worth, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is within the industry and will involve tasks such as processing invoices, maintaining vendor files, and handling accounts payable inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient handling of Accounts Payables processing and inquiries

• Inputting of all coded and approved invoices into the Sage CRE 300 system

• Monitoring of aging report to ensure timely payment of all invoices

• Reconciliation of vendor statements, researching and resolving any discrepancies

• Maintenance of Vendor and Subcontractor Files and Certificates of Insurance

• Handling of various duties as assigned or requested by Controller

• Answering and routing of phone calls

• Weekly processing and updating of Field Payroll and Job Cost

• Maintenance of employee files, licenses, and certifications

• Regular filing of job folders, accounts payable, and payroll. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills are essential

• Experience in Invoice Processing is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software is a plus

• Prior experience in Payroll is beneficial

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Relevant work experience in a similar role is beneficial

• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices is required

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
