  • Ensure quality customer service and safety of all patrons of the fitness center.
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student employee fitness center staff of 15+.
  • Plan, coordinator, promote, staff, and support a variety of group fitness classes.
  • Monitor fitness center expenses and revenue to ensure operation stays within budget.
  • Track fitness center equipment inventory and utilization and purchase necessary equipment and supplies for programs.
  • Track participation numbers and personal training sessions. Conduct program assessment surveys.
  • Develop a calendar of Intramural Sports programming including seasonal leagues, one-day tournaments, and recreational activities.
  • Create and manage an intramural sports program budget.
  • Facilitate and supervise all intramural sports events and activities both on and off campus.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate intramural sports and outdoor recreation student employees.
  • Implement program assessments to assess market needs, and interests, participant satisfaction, and overall program feedback.
  • Serve as online administrator for intramural sports and fitness center software, offering technical support when needed.
  • Manage the schedule of the fieldhouse, fields, off-site facilities, and program equipment.
  • Assist with outdoor recreation and education programs.
  • Assist with development, programming, and the daily operation of club sports.
  • Work as a liaison between the recreation department and clubs.
  • Oversee travel arrangements, equipment needs, and space allocation.
  • Coordinate and implement campus-wide marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Attend community outreach events to promote the fitness center, intramural sports events, outdoor recreation and club sports.
