Robert Half Divisional Controller in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

Description

State of the art retailer is looking to staff an efficient, Divisional Controller with proven experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. In this Controller role, you will be responsible for the accounting operations of the organization enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of all reported financial results and developing a set of controls and budgets anticipated to mitigate risk. We are looking for a candidate who can drive cash generation, improve financial accounting systems, and provide management with the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.

Major Responsibilities

· Review and manage accounting operations

· Cash Flow Reporting

· Assist with month end close procedures

· Oversee monthly/quarterly and year-end closing

· Prepare financial statements

· Balance Sheet Reconciliation

· Create financial forecast and annual budget

· Implement applicable financial controls

· Analyze market trends and risks

· Comply with local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements

The ideal Divisional Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.

Other requirements for the Divisional Controller role include and are not limited to:

· 7+ years total experience, 3+ in a management role

· Auto Dealership experience REQUIRED

· Experience with Reynolds DMS software

· Solid Microsoft Office Suite experience
