Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the energy industry in the Greater Philadelphia region. The Director of Customer Care is tasked with the ongoing enhancement of an exceptional customer experience, ensuring top-tier service quality in both inbound and outbound Customer Care operations. This Director of Customer Care role involves guiding a team of Managers to devise and execute strategies that meet established KPIs and metrics for scheduled appointments across various utility programs. Additionally, the Director of Customer Care will oversee a team of representatives responsible for setting appointments and selling services to customers of utility programs within a specific region.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily operations within a specific Customer Care region, guiding a committed team to consistently achieve or surpass program performance metrics.

  • Administer departmental budgets, resources, and spending, as well as vendor relations, to maximize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Motivate and direct a team of customer care managers to guarantee the effective execution of utility energy efficiency programs.

  • Discover opportunities for optimizing resources and improving processes to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness by developing staffing and resource plans.

    Requirements

The ideal Director of Customer Care will have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Other requirements for the Director of Customer Care role include and are not limited to:

  • 8+ years of experience in customer service management (both inbound and outbound models)

  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and management in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Energy industry experience preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Demonstrated track record of building and leading high performing teams with strong results orientation.
