AON Account Manager in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

Aon is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team for a specialty insurance program with Aon Affinity servicing our Health Care Association client base.

Affinity Insurance Services, a division of Aon, is a full-service insurance broker/administrator specializing in the marketing and administration of insurance programs for Aon's Affinity customer groups. We are the vital link bringing together these groups with underwriting companies. For the underwriting company, we provide the marketing and administrative expertise necessary to maximize and enhance the performance of the program.

This may be a virtual or hybrid opportunity out of our Fort Washington, PA office.

What the day will look like:

As an integral part of the team this individual will be responsible for assigned healthcare association accounts within out Healthcare Professional Liability Insurance program. The selected candidate will be a key player in retaining client and insurance carrier relationships while adhering to underwriting guidelines and maintaining high customer service standards. The candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and execute on work is essential.

  • Daily account management for accounts within the healthcare professional liability insurance program

  • Responsible for researching and resolving association-driven inquiries and/or complaints

  • Developing a strong understanding of association clients' business

  • Responsible for quarterly and annual stewardship reports for each assigned association clients

  • Travel and attend meetings and annual conferences related to assigned accounts; attending annual conferences for 'other' Affinity Healthcare clients as assigned based upon schedules

  • Developing presentations and presenting both large and small groups on the Healthcare professional liability programs

  • Updating and communicating competitive research for the Affinity program

  • Partnering with Account Executive on Healthcare Association contract renewals

  • Active participation in weekly team meetings and quarterly meetings with underwriting partner

  • May participate in special projects as assigned, such as training or communication sessions within or outside of the company

    Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Property & Casualty license preferred or must be obtain within 3 months of hire date

  • Insurance experience in account management preferred

  • Professional Liability insurance experience a plus

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrates technical competency and ability to create innovative solutions

  • Travel required- up to 30%

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of industry experience

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
