Summary About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Ft. Moore, Georgia 31905. The Maneuver Center of Excellence is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Al. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Responsibilities Assists in the revision of training materials by performing instructional design, development, validation and evaluation based on criteria using the Systems Approach to Training Training (SAT) process. Participates in task analysis for determining training requirements. Verifies that lesson plans, training materials, and equipment required for training are present, current and operational to teach assigned units of instruction. Analyzes and recommends solutions to training and training resource problems. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education, Teaching or Instructing in an Adult Education Program, Secondary School, College, Education and Training Instructions. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
