Job Title: Helicopter Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Aviation Technician I with a minimum of two years’ experience and documented training on the H60 series helicopters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance on UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopters. This role requires the ability to work in various physical positions such as climbing, standing, stooping, bending, stretching, and crouching. Heavy lifting is generally managed with mechanical devices. A high school diploma or GED, along with a valid driver's license, is essential for this position. Applicants must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, making rational decisions, and exercising good judgement. This role also requires FAA/DOT pre-employment drug testing and, although a security clearance is not required, applicants must meet US government eligibility requirements including US citizenship.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Moore, Georgia.

Work Environment

Work is primarily conducted in an Army hangar designated for the UH-60 ranger fleet. The office area is climate-controlled, while the hangar is equipped with large fans to manage temperature. The position is available in two shifts, first and second. The environment is laid-back but demands individuals who are self-motivated and can work diligently without constant supervision
