Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE1 or SWE2) to join our intel team.  Description: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic DevOps & Site Reliability Software Developer to join our full-stack AI integration software development team. Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with development teams to improve code deployment processes and application performance

• Help monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability

• Participate in rotations to support our production environments

• Contribute to the development of infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts

• Assist in capacity planning and performance optimization of our AI-driven applications

• Collaborate on documentation of processes, runbooks, and best practices

• Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

  Candidates should have the following qualifications: 

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting

• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

• Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript)

• Understanding of fundamental DevOps concepts and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)

• Basic understanding of database systems and SQL

• Knowledge of security best practices in software development and infrastructure

• Experience with or interest in machine learning and AI technologies

• Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding projects demonstrating initiative and passion for technology

  Salary Range: $70,000 to $190,000
