Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will focus on managing and data entry of various accounting functions. This position is primarily office-based, and it falls under the telecom provider industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and maintain records of accounts payable transactions

• Use accounting software systems to manage and track accounts payable

• Perform data entry tasks to keep all accounting records up-to-date and accurate

• Handle check processing and ensure timely payments to vendors

• Use Microsoft Excel and IBM AS/400 for managing and analyzing accounting data

• Resolve discrepancies in accounting records promptly and accurately

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of accounts payable functions

• Use your knowledge of Quantum Control, our ERP solution, to optimize accounting processes

• Communicate effectively with vendors and other team members to resolve any issues related to accounts payable

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial data. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with IBM AS/400 is required

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel is necessary

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions is expected

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial

• Skill in Check Processing is a must

• Strong ability in Data Entry is needed

• Capability to handle Discrepancies is required
