  • Copper and fiber optic cable installation, maintenance, and splicing

  • Experience in fault locating
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience in OSP cable maintenance
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in a Lead Telecom position
• BICSI Installer 2 certification (company provided) within 6 months of hire

• Nortel Meridian CS1000 central office experience
• Active or recent U.S. government Secret security clearance

Lead a team of technicians in day-to-day telecommunications duties

Repair and maintain OSP cable facilities including poles, underground services, and conduit

Test and monitor confined space air quality per OSHA regulations

Inspect, pump excess water, clean out debris, make minor repairs and maintain manholes

Maintain and repair/replace cable related defects

Perform Moves, Adds, and Changes on the base Nortel/Avaya CS1000 and Meridian Mail systems
