Summary About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1E8AA USA INTELLIGENCE CTR OF EXCELLENCE. Responsibilities Provide authoritative training expertise, guidance and consultation for Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) concerning NCO Academy training analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation issues, including non-routine and complex situations. Organize, plan, and provide training advice and guidance to the NCO Academy course manager, instructors and training developers concerning the design and development of training support materials. Interpret, develop, and critique course guidance and material; establish operating procedures; coordinate mission requirements; and identify and/or resolve conflicting views and recommendations. Supervise a team of civilian and military personnel. Perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory and managerial functions. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes (1) Conducting job and task analysis to determine critical areas to be incorporated in training curriculum. AND (2) Reviewing and analyzing training and course curriculum to determine if adjustments are needed based on new operational area implementation or lessons learned. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
