Responsibilities Operate large, complex riding lawn mower and/or specially designed riding mowers to mow in areas requiring attention to space and environment. Perform tasks that require significant manual skill, very heavy physical effort, several steps, phases, and detailed procedures (e.g. preparing ground for sod, flowers, and shrubs), following drawings and specifications. Responsible for selecting appropriate equipment to accomplish work, following safety practices, obtaining assistance, and performing routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment. Works under supervision of leader who provides instructions, standard procedures, and policies, and complete assignments in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated work experience that includes the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position. Ability to interpret instructions, specifications, etc. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
