Job Description

An employer is looking for a Cyber Analyst to sit at Fort Meade in Maryland. This person will be a part of a team to provide analysis of the architectures, technologies, policy & information of critical data for senior stakeholders. They will be conducting analysis of cybersecurity defensive strategies in regards to Zero Trust architecture and cloud security. They will be responsible for creating cybersecurity and risk assessment methodologies for the environment to prevent, detect, and mitigate malicious activity and inefficiencies. This person should be comfortable creating and delivering briefs/ presentations to senior leadership on their findings.

Skills and Requirements

Active Top Secret and eligible for SCI

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of applicable combined education and experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.

IAT Level II (Security +, CySA+, CND, CISSP, CASP+, GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, CEH)

Familiarity with all related aspects of cybersecurity operations and security architecture

In-depth knowledge of network and application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques and cyber threat/adversary methodologies (TTPs).

Experience working with Zero Trust architecture and/or cloud security Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.

Experience with technical and/or military writing

Experience with configuring and operating cybersecurity and networking devices (i.e. routers, firewalls, IDPS)

Experience with mitigation development against malicious cyber activity null
