CACI has an immediate need for a Network Engineer to work within commuting distance to Frederick, MD.

The Network Engineer possesses broad based expertise in network architecture platforms and integrating systems onto Army tactical networks. Applies the appropriate network and security standards to integrate medical IT systems on the network. Provides advanced technical support and subject matter expertise for network infrastructure and system integration. The Network Engineer will work with a team of professionals comprising cyber security engineers, clinical subject matter experts, application software developers, and PMO product owners. You will be the SME about Army tactical networks, integrating existing systems to those networks, and requirements to insert new technology into the networks.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Perform a wide range of systems engineering services to determine the feasibility of connecting a medical IT system to the Army tactical network. Provide insight into the security and settings required to connect to the network.

  • Capabilities analysis

  • Leadership and Education efforts

  • Network integration

  • Platform integration

  • Interoperability with various medical IT systems

  • Planning and strategy meetings

  • Program review and coordination meetings

  • General systems engineering and systems implementation planning

  • Prepare specifications, plans, analyses, modeling, simulations and reports

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 10 years of experience as systems engineer or equivalent role

  • Windows Operating Systems

  • Army Tactical Network

  • Implementing Cyber security requirements

  • Network systems support, servers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active Secret security clearance is preferred

  • Security+ Cloud Based systems

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
